AfriCAN
Climate is an interactive knowledge platform, providing targeted scientific
research, indigenous knowledge and policies related to climate change in
Africa.
AfriCAN Climate provides information about
research projects, reviews of publications, good practice cases of climate
change mitigation and adaptation projects, links, tools and more.
AfriCAN Climate is a project co-funded by the European Commission within the
7th Framework Programme. The project was set up by a team of 5 African and 5
European organisations, including research institutes and dissemination
networks, and runs from October 2011 to September 2014.

AfriCAN Climate is an open public forum and
depends upon your participation and contribution.
On the portal you can share your knowledge
about research topics of your interest, highlight relevant publications,
projects and events; you can exchange ideas with other AfriCAN users and
create new groups for networking and discussion.
The AfriCAN community is open to all
interested researchers, practitioners, policy makers, NGOs, students,
associations and climate change experts. We look forward to meeting you on
