The main goal of the Project is simulate the national, EU-wide and
global benefits and costs of "optimal" mitigation and adaptation
actions in the forestry and agricultural sectors.
CCTAME also intends to analyse the impacts of alternative land use
energy policies on greenhouse gas emissions and carbon storage, and
explain how and why they deviate from the optimum.
The Project links country-level, EU-level and global-level models of
agricultural and forest productivity to EU-level and global-level
economic models of land use and bio-energy resource competition.
