Facility (SEAF) Overview
Uganda - Biomass energy
strategy
SEAF
was a pilot
effort to strengthen the capability of developing countries to analyse and
implement sustainable energy initiatives. The features of the facility are
further described in UNEP's briefing note.
SEAF interventions
were undertaken in
Botswana, Ghana, Jamaica, Mali, Namibia and Uganda. A brief description of
the activities is summarised here.
The project was implemented jointly by UCCEE
and the Division of Technology, Industry and Economics - UNEP, under financing of the Danish
International Development Assistance (Danida). Expert support
